Got there early morning and possibly some staff sleeping in shop. Quirky decor like a early 20th century European drawing room. Importantly the coffee was good and fairly priced.

Totally unexpected place with awesome vintage decor and good food. I say unexpected because small town Uzbekistan is turning out to be different than we expected it to be. The owner introduced himself to us as we were leaving and we ended up standing around and having a nice long chat with him all about the recent development of his nation. We'd go back if we weren't leaving town tomorrow.

Nice little café/restaurant that was around the corner for our hotel. Inside it's really cut and cosy but there's plenty of space outside with big tables and lounge sofas. The owner was super friendly, we had a great chat and we even met his wife and daughter. Food was decent, relatively small portion though which for us wasn't a problem since we're small eaters. They also serve beer here.

Unique place with good food. You can sit outdoors or indoors. Outside it seems like eating in a forest. Inside it seems like going back to historical uzbek-russian times. The owner is very intelligent and friendly man who speaks fluent English. Also speaks Russian. Unfortunately, it's hard to get competent staff in Uzbekistan.
